Simcha Tour ‘09

simcha

Simcha can travel, to you.

Simcha has developed a full set of P.G. rated stand-up comedy specifically geared to a diverse audience. Simcha’s unique blend of material is extremely well received by both secular and religious audiences alike.

Simcha also offers a hilarious Group and Team Building Workshop. Through humorous improvisational games participants have fun, bond, and create community together. Simcha has run this workshop for Chabad Houses in California and New York, most notably in August of 2008, at the West Coast Chabad on Campus Leadership Conference at Chabad of UCLA.

Simcha has a prepared lecture/discussion entitled, “Two Jews walk into a bar; the Nature of Jewish Comedy.” The lecture examines the history of Jewish comedy and discusses the spiritual underpinnings of comedy.

Simcha is now booking shows for late fall, 2009. If you are interested in booking Simcha for your upcoming event please contact him via the contact us page.

Here is what some really important people say about Simcha’s stand-up comedy:

“Simcha Levenberg is a clean and extremely funny comedian. He performed for my community and was fabulous. We loved him so much that we have asked him to perform again for a future event. I cannot recommend him highly enough.” –Rabbi Abba Perelmuter, Chabad of Belmont Shore

“Simcha does it all. He ran icebreakers for us, did teambuilding activities that within a few minutes made a roomful of strangers feel like lifelong friends. And, of course, we’ve had him do his comedy routine for our students. Appropriate, very funny, and even inspiring! What more can you ask for?” – Rabbi Dov Wagner, Chabad at USC

“Simcha led a team and trust building program for both my Sinai Scholars and my student board. They loved it! Simcha was able to engage my students in such a way that caused them to open up, loosen up, and unify. Simcha was a real mensch and a pleasure to work with. It was also a Kiddush Hashem to see a frum Jew use his talents to inspire others. Both his stand-up comedy and workshops are an incredibly cutting-edge way to engage your community. ” – Rabbi Dov Yonah Korn, Chabad at NYU
